Advertising & Digital Compliance

Compliance Audits

Your website is advertising. In healthcare that puts it under rules with real penalties, enforced by a regulator that does not accept "the agency wrote it" as a defence. We audit every page against the actual guidelines and hand you a written report: the offending copy, the rule it breaches, and a compliant rewrite.

Two Sets of Rules, One Pass

Most compliance conversations stop at advertising rules, which leaves the other half of the exposure untouched. We check both in the same audit, because they live on the same pages and the same person ends up responsible for them.

Pillar One

Advertising Compliance

Section 133 of the National Law and the Dental Board of Australia advertising guidelines. Testimonials, before and after imagery, comparative and superlative claims, inducements and time-limited offers, specialist titles, and any claim that promises an outcome.

Pillar Two

Digital Compliance

WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, Privacy Act obligations and whether your privacy policy describes what the site genuinely does, cookie and consent handling, and the third-party scripts collecting data you may not know are running.

What Gets Checked

Every Page, Against the Actual Guidelines

Not a sample, not the homepage and three service pages. The whole site, because the page that creates the problem is almost never the one you would have picked.

Full Site Crawl

Every page, not a sample. Service pages, location pages, blog archive, landing pages still live from a campaign three years ago, and the ones nobody on the current team remembers publishing. Forgotten pages are where most faults are found.

Advertising Rule Check

Each page tested against section 133 of the National Law and the Dental Board advertising guidelines, with the specific provision cited against each fault. Covers misleading claims, superlatives, comparative advertising, inducements, and specialist title use.

Testimonial & Review Exposure

Where patient reviews, embedded Google widgets, and social proof create a testimonial problem. This is the most common fault we find and the one practices are most surprised by, because the widget was installed by a previous agency as a selling point.

Before & After Imagery

Whether your case photography meets the conditions the guidelines actually set, covering consistency of lighting and angle, the accompanying disclaimers, consent, and whether the result shown is presented as typical.

Accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA)

Colour contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text, form labels, focus states, and heading structure. Beyond the legal exposure, this is the group of users most likely to be silently unable to book with you.

Privacy & Consent

What your privacy policy claims against what your site actually does: tracking pixels, analytics, form data handling, third-party embeds, and whether consent is genuinely collected before anything fires.

The Deliverable

A Written Report, Not a Checklist

A red-amber-green checklist tells you that you have a problem. It does not tell you what to write instead, which is the only part that actually helps. Our report quotes the offending copy exactly as it appears, cites the specific rule it conflicts with, and supplies a compliant alternative you can paste straight in.

Faults are ordered by severity, so you fix the things that carry real exposure first rather than working alphabetically through a spreadsheet. An audit is a marketing compliance review, not legal advice.

Every page crawled, not a representative sample

Offending copy quoted with the exact rule cited

A compliant rewrite supplied for every fault

Ordered by severity, so you know what to fix first

Accessibility and privacy checked in the same pass

Delivered as a written report you can hand to your team

Compliance and Growth Are Not Opposites

The practices that get into trouble are usually the ones marketing hardest with the least oversight. We run the audit, then fix what it finds, and keep the rules in view in the advertising and content we produce afterwards.
